Joni Mitchell

Did I ever mention I love Joni Mitchell's music?

I play her songs when Gary isn't around since he doesn't like her music. One of the few things we disagree on. How could he not? I'm still baffled after all these years.

Unique sound and yet it's the messages behind the work I find even more captivating.

Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

I too love Joni Mitchell, thankfully Jeff does too! Netflix has a good documentary about her. It's available on streaming... guess you would have to watch it when Gary wasn't around.

She's really great, perfect to listen to while in the studio.

I love her too, but my re-gifted computer doesn't have speakers that work, so I'm unable to share sound right now. This will change, I'm going batty not being able to hear a single thing people post! It has to have speakers with a power source, not just plug in speakers...rather old and persnickety!

Oh I love her music too Linda. All of it. River is my very favorite Christmas song, it suits my melancholy nature. Have to do some explaining when everyone else is listening to what I really dislike about Christmas music.

I'm a fan of Diana Krall and don't really care about Joni Mitchell as much. I'm so glad to hear she has such devout fans though!

Joni is a fine Canadian musical icon, and I could listen to the River all day long! I knew we had more in common than clay and a love of Florida.

Hi Lori, thanks, I may have to move the stereo to my studio, in the living room in the center of the house now.

Hi Barbara, thanks, I have to be careful not to listen to Joni when I am melancholy.

Hi Joanne, thanks, oh so many good songs.

Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, oh now I must check into Diana Krall, thanks for the tip.
